So I’ve been slowly de-cluttering my home and I’ve found my collection of my daughter’s baby teeth, and I’m thoroughly stumped – what to do with kids teeth after they’ve fallen out?
I definitely keep them overnight, for the whole tooth-fairy thing.
But after that… what do you all do with them? Honestly, I’m a bit grossed-out with this collection I’ve found as it makes me feel like a serial killer that collects body parts as souvenirs. Lol, did I go too far with that analogy? I don’t know, I just feel gross about it. I don’t want to throw them away, but I also don’t want to keep them. So I’m torn.
I googled some ideas, and found some pretty boxes so you can store them as keepsakes. I also found some folks that make jewelry out of them. And I also found others that say you should definitely keep them because doctors can retrieve your child’s stem cells from their baby teeth and this is very important but I don’t understand why.
So I don’t know what to do… what would you do? 🙂
I’m pretty sure my wife still has a collection of teeth. I have no idea why

I got rid of my big kids. The stem cell thing gives me pause for Hannah though. Maybe a pretty box just in case?
I might keep just a few in a nice keepsake box for now. When I have time, I might do some more Googling on that stem cell thing and see if it seems legit or not. 🙂
I just get rid of them. It had never occurred to me that anyone would want to keep them.
Lol, right now I’m keeping them in a zip-lock baggie and even I think it’s weird. 🙂
Definitely keep them, I’m just not sure how and it could be as you listed for many reasons.
Yes, I’ll probably keep them in a little cute keepsake box. But I don’t know why. 🙂
I kept the first one and I got rid of the rest. But I’m not sentimental at all.

Hmmm that’s a tough one… I think most of us are like you we don’t know what to do because we don’t know where they are lol. I will probably run across them one day in one of my many memory boxes. Maybe put them in a small bad tuck them away and put them in treasure box to give to your daughter later. 😍
