iFly Indoor SkyDiving

So my daughter’s birthday is coming up in March and I’m trying to come-up with a birthday party for her, where she won’t be on her feet the whole entire time, since she might still be in some sort of recovery then.

I remember when she was younger, that we had gone to iFly indoor skydiving at my parent’s city and she really enjoyed it! She was alot younger at the time, so a revisit now with all her cousins might be the right timing!!! What do you all think of this as a birthday party idea?

There’s one of these in most major cities in the U.S. – you can check your city here on their website: iFlyWorld. And it might be under another name, but I’ve seen these internationally too so you’re not out of luck if you’re not in the U.S. but I’m just unsure the different business name.

Here are some of our photos from when we went. Because we were beginners, we had an instructor inside with us the whole entire time. But I think once you reach a certain level, you won’t need an instructor with you anymore…

  1. We have one here in Toronto.. I’ve always wanted to go! Looks so much fun!!! whatever you guys end up doing I’m sure will be great! My birthday is in March too 🙂

    1. Lol, so the weird thing is… it’s not a “falling” sensation. There’s so much wind blowing on you, it’s more like being in a wind tunnel but the difficulty is keeping your body flat the whole time. So it’s more of a physical challenge than a falling challenge. So it might not be so bad for you! 🙂
