Hi everyone! I know that I blab about myself an awful lot here, but [plot twist] I also want to get to know YOU all better!
So I have some starter questions here that’ll help us get to know each other better. I hope you participate. It’ll be interesting to see what the overall turnout is like.
I made them poll questions too, in case you’re looking for quick and easy input. But you’re also welcome to freestyle your answers in the comments too. Definitely whatever your preference is, is fine. It’s another characteristic of you!
And I don’t believe the poll works if you’re here via WordPress Reader, my apologies for that. I think the only way to see the poll questions would be via my actual site… so sad. 🙁

And, it’s almost time for me to draw for the next Subscriber Spotlight, where one of you lucky folks can win a free promo on my blog and social media. The winner last time was BosssyBabe and you can check out her shout-out here: My First Subscriber Spotlight – BosssyBabe.
Make sure you are entered by subscribing below so you don’t miss out on the drawing… Good luck!
Fun idea!
Thanks! I hope you voted! 🙂
Of course!
Love the questions! I chuckle dwhen I saw there was another person who also answered “no talking to anyone in real life” over no social media/blogging for a week! 😆 Everyone so far thinks the same about being poor with a job you love, that’s cool. I really like things like this and being able to see the results as soon as you choose your answer.
The Subscriber Spotlight is a brilliant idea, too. It’s very generous of you to do it and it’s a great way for us readers to get to know bloggers we might not have come across before, too.
I’m not saying I want to be in the spotlight (😇) but when you say about subscribing does that include WordPress followers? I follow on the WP reader and I get email notifications of each new post to my inbox, but that’s via WP I think, not the subscription box on your blog.
Caz xx
Lol, I didn’t vote myself because I don’t want to skew the results, but I totally would pick “No talking to anyone in real life” for a week. That’s like, my ideal self-care, LOL.
Oh, right now I’m not drawing from WordPress followers for the Subscriber Spotlight because not all of them include email addresses for me to make contact if they win. If I click on them, half of them go to profile pages without a blog link or email link so I don’t really have a way to contact them if they win. And I do touch-base once I do the drawing because we have to coordinate what they want to promo, when they want to promo, any links/photos/etc… so it’s quite interactive. 🙂
I truly appreciate you being a WordPress follower… so I can assure you that I don’t sent email notifications of EVERY SINGLE blog post to my email subscribers (bc I don’t want them to UNsubscribe!). I do send a quarterly newsletter, and then any extra news that I want to blast, but that’s not frequent at all. I hope this info helps you! 🙂
I didn’t vote on rich at a job I hate vs. poor at a job I love because that hits a little too close to home these days. And I didn’t vote sporting event vs. concert because I love both, although it depends on what it is in both cases.
Oh I’m living the job question right now and I am miserable, depressed, etc. My daily fantasy is to quit. I can’t really afford to leave it right now, so I’m stuck. Like I’m in prison. 🙁
I’m sorry… my story is a bit more complicated and nuanced than that, but I hope you find a way to be less miserable soon.
Great questions! I had a hard time with rich with job you hate or poor with job you love lol… While I love my job and would probably volunteer doing it, I still like being financially independent in life… So I picked being rich at a job I hate bc I feel like logically I just wouldn’t carry much weight with my job and eventually quit bc why would I keep working there if I’m rich lol or I’d find ways to make other streams of income and quit haha sorry, I guess I cheated haha
Lol, you just described my dream plan! I hate my job right now and it’s literally killing me, but I hope to save enough money from it that I can pay-off the house and then invest in other income streams so I can finally QUIT!!! I’ve played out so many “I quit” scenarios in my mind it’s ridiculous!
I seem to pick the less popular answers. Interesting…
As for the last question, I would choose neither but there was no option. I don’t like sporting events or concerts because they are loud and I can’t tolerate loud noise.
Lol as I’ve gotten older, I definitely have started to refrain from loudness so I totally get this. In my younger days, I’d choose a concert for sure. But I don’t crave them anymore like I used to. 🙂
Such fun questions!!! I think the tricky one was ‘job-wealth’ one. While I quit my really well playing-super dull banking job to start my own business – I could do it because I had saved enough to not be broke broke. But I wouldn’t choose being poor only because money can buy other kinds of happiness – travel, food, clothes, etc. 😀
This was definitely a difficult question, for me too! Congratulations on quitting your dull job and starting your own business! That’s like, my dream! I’m so happy you’re living it! 🙂
Fun idea and had fun doing it.
Welcome! And I’m so glad you enjoyed doing it! 🙂
My blog is new but this is a great idea for down the line.
Thank you for visiting! 🙂
